Seven years of film with Rome
Challenge
UCBM wanted to grow its international intake and needed to move beyond prospectuses and static web pages. The university combines medicine, engineering and science under one roof, with an on-campus teaching hospital and a strong focus on “science and technology for humans and the environment”. The challenge was to turn that complexity into clear, engaging stories for overseas students and parents, without losing the substance.
What we did:
Across multiple films, we showed the campus, hospital and labs in use; followed bootcamps and project work; and wove in student and faculty voices from around the world. Each piece focused on a different angle—clinical experience, research, AI and IoT, life in Rome—but shared a consistent style: real teaching, real projects, real city. Over time, this became a connected series that made the university’s international offer easy to understand and easy to imagine.
Outcome:
UCBM now has a long-running library of bespoke films that bring its international story to life. The campaigns have helped attract students from multiple countries to Rome and given the university a moving-image presence that matches its ambitions: clear, human and grounded in what actually happens on campus.
