Venue platform in Cambridge
that became a platform
for events and activities
potential
Challenge
The brief was launch a credible venue brand from scratchâclear enough for first-time visitors, detailed enough for event producers, and flexible enough to cover very different bookings (conferences, workshops, shoots, podcasts, rehearsals) without reading like a random list of rooms.
What we did
We built Anglia Venues from the ground up. That meant developing the concept and positioning, creating the logo and design identity, and then designing and building the website as a practical booking-first experience. We wrote and structured the core venue pages around decision-making detailsâwhat each space is best for, whatâs included, and what can be added (AV, livestream, crew/support).
We also sourced and packaged the first set of bookable spaces, then populated the site with a coherent âportfolioâ. The initial line-up includes Cambridge Conference Centre (with multiple nested spaces), alongside the separate creative production studio. Finally, we set the brand up to grow: the site makes it easy to enquire when the perfect space isnât listed, while signalling that the venue roster can expand beyond whatâs currently live.
âOutcome
Anglia Venues now has a clear identity and a functioning, bookable foundation: visitors can quickly understand what each space is for, choose the level of support they need, and book or enquire without the usual back-and-forth. Just as importantly, the platform is structured to scaleâfrom two flagship Cambridge locations today to a wider East Anglia portfolio over time.
